Upon arrival to our facility each valve is tagged, marked and a service report is initiated. Each valve is then taken apart and each component is sandblasted and cleaned.
All parts are then subjected to a thorough inspection. Parts are measured and checked to factory specifications to ensure the valve meets all requirements.
Seating areas are machined, ground, and lapped to ensure a positive seal. All other parts are either welded, machined or straightened to meet factory specifications.
New gaskets and packing are installed as per customer specifications, and the valve is assembled. A complete operation of the valve is performed to ensure proper operation prior to final testing.
The valve is painted and readied for shipment to the customer or plant. The customer is supplied with a detailed test report indicating initial condition of the valve, all work done, parts supplied and test results.
